It’s been a long process but our gin has finally arrived! Born because Aaron wanted his own gin for the family business. With the help of a local distiller, print company and design team, Novo Foresta was born. Exclusively available at Pages of Lyndhurst only.

New Forest Gin – Novo Foresta is a clean refreshing gin with a zesty start coming from the lemon verbena and giving way to a warm finish. A long lasting tasty gin that is perfectly served with tonic. Mediterranean tonic will sweeten the drink slightly or to dry it back, try Indian Tonic.

The bergamot comes from our very own Earl Grey tea giving a beautiful aroma to a great tasting gin. Other botanicals include, Lovage, Rosemary, Juniper and Coriander. The name comes from William the Conqueror who names The New Forest, Novo Foresta when he claimed the area as his private hunting ground. Thanks William!!

There can be few other places in England where the ancient landscape has remained so unchanged. 1079 when William The Conqueror named the area his ‘new hunting forest’, little could he imagine that nearly 1,000 years later his ‘Nova Foresta’ would still retain its mystery and romance.

The ancient system established by William The Conqueror to protect and manage the woodlands and wilderness heaths is still in place today through the efforts of Verderers, Agisters and Commoners – literally the judges, stockmen and land users of the forest.

The New Forest is a great place to visit for walking, dog walking, cycling and horse riding for everyone. When you’re out in the forest and are enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the rich wildlife, please help us to care for this very special place.
