What is a classic IPA?

A classic IPA, or India Pale Ale, is a hoppy beer style known for its strong hop flavor and bitterness, often featuring notes of citrus, pine, or tropical fruits. It originated in England, brewed with extra hops and a higher alcohol content to survive the long journey to India. Modern American IPAs have further pushed the boundaries of hop flavor and aroma, creating a wide range of variations.
